Berns Fred Berns is a marketing and sales consultant, author and professional speaker who gives programs nationwide on how to use self-promotion to dramatically increase sales performance and profits. His highly-acclaimed keynote speeches and seminars for the interior design industry and for franchise organizations, trade groups, associations, corporations and other groups focus on how individuals can use personal promotion to achieve peak sales performance. Audience members learn how to improve their sales results by differentiating themselves, effectively communicating their message, and making a maximum marketing impact for a minimal investment of time and money. Berns delivers his programs to groups as diverse as the American Society of Interior Designers, Johnson & Johnson, the American Automobile Association, Lockheed Martin, the Environmental Protection Agency, Microsoft, and New York Life Insurance. He presents marketing and sales programs to and has developed training systems for organizations nationwide. His book entitled "Sell Yourself! 501 Ways to Get Them to Buy from YOU!" has been a national best seller, and he is the co-author of "Celebrate Marketing" and "Confessions of Shameless Self Promoters." He has developed other publications and audio and video tape programs on sales and marketing. Berns, a personal coach for business executives, interior design professionals and others, also offers presentation skills and media training for his clients.
